The AnswerRing® Series

We sometimes think of our problems, concerns, and worries as uniquely our own, but often the issues and reactions they generate are shared by many of us.  The AnswerRing® series of educational tools focuses on common problems among particular groups of people. By listing the problems along with common reactions, people within these groups – such as Combat Veterans, for example – can easily identify how they are feeling.

The fact that it is possible to succinctly describe a problem and the feelings it generates is the first clue that even if the problem is a nasty one, it is not uncommon. If it is not uncommon, then there must be other people dealing with it and talking about it, rather than letting it fester.
This is where the flip side of the AnswerRing® comes in. After the problem and its exact situation have been described on the front, the back of the  AnswerRing® offers a solution, whether it be a suggestion for specific action or encouragement for the particular situation.

The first commercially available AnswerRing® is Women Dealing with Husbands, www.TheAnswerRing.com. The Women Dealing with Husbands AnswerRing® works through the same step-by-step principle as the Combat Veterans AnswerRing®, but is based on relationship issues between husbands and wives. In contrast, the Combat Veterans AnswerRing® encompasses an enormous scope of powerful and difficult issues that can develop in many different personal relationships in the lives of returning combat Vets.

The third AnswerRing® in the series, now in development, offers help to people trying to get control of their weight. It is called The Next Six Minutes - Advice for People Wanting to Lose Weight. Although it is also based on the same step-by-step usage principle as the other AnswerRing®s, its approach and manner of use is quite different.

Future AnswerRing®s will include:

  • Advice for Young Couples Dealing with Money
  • Advice for Men Dealing with Wives
  • Advice for Parents of Teenage Sons
  • Advice for Parents of Teenage Daughters
  • Advice for Employees Dealing with Bosses
  • Advice for Employees Dealing with Co-workers
  • Advice for Adult Children of Aging Parents

As with all AnswerRing®s in the series, the questions and answers are developed in concert with people knowledgeable and qualified in the topics involved. However, in each case, the AnswerRing® is an educational tool meant to provide direction, not therapy.
